Flowers in India will be used by the professional market like restaurants and the hotel, industry etc. Especially for weddings, anniversary, Bollywood and funerals flowers will be used on a large scale, but also new established Corporations in the big cities wants to have flowers.
There is also a trend seen, mainly in the cities, toward consumers.
Buying power in India is increasing quickly, and slowly the number of flower kiosks in the cities are increasing.
Outside of India, mainly the Middle East but also the Far East and Europe are markets if interest, especially to flower markets, wholesalers and retailers, but also flower auctions.
It is the art to bring a flower product on a moment that these products are not available from Dutch cultivation.
A marketing manager for India is already available, who already supply flowers from test production to several cities in India and therefor has a greater understanding on how to push the flowers into this fast growing segment.
Outside India, there is a manager able to arrange contracts for several flower productions.

From India producers (poor quality), or import of products from Holland (high prices, mainly because of high labor costs and high transport costs by air). India will be used as a dump market, because they cannot determine different qualities.
Although there is a trend of a growing higher segment for high end hotel chains and also the consumer that has more money to spend on high quality flowers.
